Chicken Pulav/Shrimp Pulav

Here is a pulav recipe from Shruti. It is spicy and tasty.

Clean shrimp with pasupu, buttermilk and salt.
Or use chicken cut into 1" cubes

Heat oil in a pan, and add shrimp with salt, pasupu, karam and ginger garlic paste. Fry for few minutes. Add oil and little ghee in presser cooker and add jeera, red chillies, curry leaves. When they start spluttering, add chopped Onions, slit green chillies,ginger-garlic paste and coriander powder.
Add shrimp and fry it for sometime.
Add rice and biryani masala and mix.
Add water and taste it to make sure salt is right.
Add chopped coriander leaves and close the pressure cooker. Making this in the pressure cooker makes the shrimp soft (not tough)
Put it in high for 5 mins and put it in low for 7 mins and turn it off.
