This recipe is healthy and tasty. Spinach, Cauliflower, Green Peppers or Cabbage can be used instead of Broccoli.
Broccoli cut into pieces.
Moong Dal -
Curry leaves
Curry Powder
Onions - chopped
Chilli Powder
Salt
Oil
Garlic - chopped
coriander leaves - chopped
Boil Moong Dal in water until the dal mashes when pressed with fingers. Keep it aside. Steam Broccoli until crisp tender.
Heat Oil in a pan. Add Jeera, mustard seeds, Garlic, curry leaves. When they start spluttering add onions and fry. Add Broccoli and mix. Add Cooked Dal and fry for few min. Add curry powder, chilli powder, salt and mix. Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve.

Beetroot Fry
Beetroots - 4 - Grated in the food processor
Onion - 1 - sliced
Urad Dal - 2tbsp
Curry Leaves - few
Curry Powder - 1tsp
Chilli Powder - 1tsp
Salt
Oil
Jeera
Mustard Seeds
Garlic chopped
coriander leaves - chopped
Coconut - grated (Optional)
Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, mustard seeds, chopped garlic, curry leaves and urad dal. When they start spluttering add onions. Fry until translucent. Add Beetroot and fry until cooked. Add salt, chilli powder, curry powder. Add Grated coconut and mix. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Coconut Chocolate Chip Bars
This recipe is for all the coconut lovers. Very easy to make and will be a hit in Potluck parties.
graham crackers - make crumbs in a food processor - we will need 1 1/2cups
butter - 1/2 cup (1 stick) - Melt in the microwave
coconut (Flake coconut) - 1 1/2cup
chocolate chips - 1cup
chopped walnuts or pecans - 1cup
sweetened condensed milk - 1 - 14oz can
vanilla - 1tsp
9x13" baking dish
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix graham cracker crumbs, vanilla and butter. Press graham cracker mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Pour condensed milk on top of the mixture. Sprinkle chocolate chips, coconut, and chopped nuts on the top. Press down a little. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares. It makes 24 squares.
