Chicken Curry




Ingredients:
Chicken 2lb
Shan Memoni Biryani Masala – 1tbsp
Onions – 1big – chopped fine
Salt to taste
Chilli powder – to taste
Turmeric - 1/2tsp
Ginger Garlic paste – 1tbsp
Whole Garam Masala – Shahi Jeera, cloves, cinnamon stick, cloves, Bay leaf (optional) – few pieces of each
Kasuri Methi – crushed in the palm of the hand– 1tsp
Ketchup – 1tsp
Wostershire sauce – 1tbsp
Yogurt (Desi full fat yogurt) – 7tbsp
Cilantro – chopped 2tbsp
Green Chillis – to taste  - slit or whole
Oil – so much to drench the onions while frying

Heat oil, add shahi jeera and other whole garam masala
Add chopped onion and cook with lid closed so onion gets soft
Add green chilli if you want more heat
When they splutter, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt, chilli powder
Cook for sometime (do not let chilli powder burn)
Add chicken, Keep mixing while cooking.
Add Shaan masala
Add yogurt that is at room temp, keep whisking
Cover on med low until chicken is cooked
Add crushed kasoori methi and chopped cilantro
